Technology for E-Mobility

FROGREEN to Tackle Research on, and Further Development of, Technologies Centred on E-Mobility.

For the changeover from combustion engines to electric vehicles, the partly electric drive in hybrid vehicles is a solution that makes perfect sense. In our view, technically mature hybrid vehicles will also speed up the proliferation and acceptance of purely electric cars.

For this reason, FROGREEN have registered a racing team of their own for the ADAC GT Masters. After the hybrid technology will have become fully available with the car manufacturer, this team will fight non-hybrid competitors with a Porsche GT3R Hybrid. The purpose of this commitment is to further improve the electric part of the drive through rides under extreme stress conditions, and at the same time to convince all friends of a sportive driving style of the performance of hybrid drives as compared to conventional engines.

For our team, we go for a complete carbon offsetting in order to achieve an extensive CO2-neutrality of our racing activities. A calculation of the related CO2 emission was prepared based on the computing aids provided by the Bavarian State Environment Agency and offset by way of a reforestation programme in Southern Germany. For the future there are plans of identifying and implementing possibilities of further CO2 reduction, and of fine-tuning and extending the calculation of any remaining residual quantities.

We should like to thank all sponsors of the FROGREEN CO2-NEUTRAL project for their support
and
for sharing our vision of alternative mobility.
